My name is Robert Lee Reed.  I was born on 6/30/40.  I am married and have four children, three sons and a daughter.

I entered St. Luke's Episcopal Hospital on 07/03/2000 and received a Jarvik 2000 on 07/11/2000. 

I was on the Jarvik 2000 for seven months.  I received my heart transplant on 02/18/2001.  I had lots of problems. 

I spent 17 months in St. Luke’s. 

I am known by doctors, nurses, and friends as the “miracle man”. 

I am married to the most dedicated and loving woman in the world, Marisela Reed.
