I used a hair dryer to dry my stitches so they were not moist.
Everyone must wash their hands when visiting.
All vegetables must be cleaned even the ones that you do not eat the peeling because the knife goes through the peeling and can transfer bacteria. Clean salad thoroughly. The refrigerator had to be cleaned out because it is very important not to eat food that is out of date, everything must be processed. No Mountain Dew (grapefruit), no anchovies (Caesar salad dressing).
If working in garden use gloves because dirt carries bacteria.
No animal kisses! No cat litter box! No birds! No fish! Be careful around animals.
No buffets! No outside salads because you are not sure how clean they clean their lettuce. Lunchmeat contains a lot of sodium.
Comfortable shoes, my feet were swollen so I got clogs that were wide. Walking is the best medicine!
After transplant see dermatologist every 6 months. Doctors must be familiar with transplant patients.
Keep copies of your doctor visits and tests. Take with you when you travel. (flash drive)
